Text Message Scam

We’ve received multiple reports of a text message phishing scam, in which the sender claims to be from WNB Financial. Based on these reports, the scammer sends a text message claiming a fictional payment has been processed on your accountThe language of the text can vary. They then ask you to click a link to cancel. DO NOT click the link. If you believe you've been a victim of this scam, please contact us immediately at 507-454-8800.

 

How to Safely Access WNB Digital Banking

Your financial security is our top priority. To safely access WNB Digital Banking, follow the steps below, or access your account directly on the WNB Digital mobile app.

 

Step 1: Enter the following URL www.WNBFinancial.com

Step 2: Enter your username in the top-right of the page.

Step 3: Click login and follow the on-screen instructions.


Important Reminders:

  • You will receive a notification whenever your email or phone information is updated in WNB Digital. If these changes were not made by you, please visit your security settings and review your recently used devices. Remove any devices that you don't recognize, and update your phone number and email to the correct information. Ensure that all other devices are removed.
  • We'll only contact you about debit card transactions that are outside of your normal patterns. 
  • Our debit card Fraud Center, or any other department at WNB Financial, will NEVER make an unsolicited call asking for your account number, Digital Banking login information, or any other confidential information.
  • If you call us, we'll verify your identity to protect your information.
  • To be sure a caller or email is legitimate, always contact them by using a phone number or email you know is legitimate. DO NOT use the one they gave you. Phone numbers are easily spoofed, so it may look like the call is coming from WNB. The only way to be certain is to end the call, then call us at our published numbers: 507-454-8800 or toll free 1-800-546-4392.
  • WNB Financial will never contact you for your personal information. If you are ever unsure, please hang up and call our main number listed on our website.
